MARTHA ""NaNa"" BROWN, 95, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born November 30, 1913 in Murray City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Cassie (Loper) Mitchell. Martha was a member of the Bridgeport Church of God and had retired as an artist with the former Warwick China in Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Brown; a son Robert ""L.D."" Brown; a daughter Donna Faye Anderson; two brothers Timothy and Aubrey Mitchell; and two sisters Leona Hlad and Margaret Dyson. Martha is survived by a daughter Becky Wilson and her husband Don of Bridgeport; a daughter in-law Jean Brown of Bridgeport; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Visitation will then be held Saturday at 10 am until the time of Martha's funeral services at 11 am at the Bridgeport Church of God, 859 National Rd., Brookside, with Pastor Thomas Tennant officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
