Martha Louise Klier, 93 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Forest Hills Care Center, St. Clairsville, she was formerly of Barton.  She was born on September 27, 1927, in Barton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Worrell) Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2012 and brothers George and Charles Carter and sister Betty Lampert.

Martha was a lifelong member of the Barton Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's club.  She was retired from the Stone & Thomas Department Store in St. Clairsville.

Surviving are her son Ron (Marian) Klier, Coshocton, Ohio, and Daughter Marsha (Mike) McCormick of Bethesda.  Grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Fehr, Joe (Ashley) Klier and Marissa McCormick.  Great grandchildren Taylor Fehr, Madelyn, and William Klier.

Visitation will be Monday, September 20, 2021, at Holly Memorial Garden Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove from 2 until time of Service at 3:00pm.  Rev. James Hoff officiating.
