Martha M. Jackson Herink, 94, of Bridgeport died Saturday October 29, 2016 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville. She was born March 2, 1922 in Warwood, WV, a daughter of the late John H. and Esther (Conway) Jackson. She was a retired buyer for the former Ohio Valley Drug Co. and a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Herink Jr., a step-daughter Cathy Hess, brothers James, Robert, Richard and Herman Jackson. Martha is survived by a step-son Fred Herink of Wheeling, step-daughters Sharon Matheny, of Wheeling, and Judy (Tom) Skiba of South Carolina, a niece Maureen Jackson Bishop of Bridgeport, also several nieces and nephews. According to Martha's wishes there will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
