Martha J. George Martha J. George, 97, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio (formerly of Bridgeport, Ohio) passed away peacefully on August 14th with her family at her side. She was born on August 1, 1921. Martha was a devout and active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Anna Myers; her beloved husband, of 50+ years, Joseph George Sr.; and her son, Joseph George Jr. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Jerry) Swartz; her son Gregory, her daughter Priscilla (Kristin), and daughter Michaela (Tom) Kirwin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Smith, Megan (Brian) Gesualdo, Madison (Ryan) King, Olivia Kirwin and Max Kirwin and 2 great-grandchildren, Briella Gesualdo and Ian Gesualdo, who called her Mema or Gee-Gee. These amazing kids will carry on her legacy for years to come. She was loved by many friends and extended family across the Ohio Valley and always reminded us that "She is #1". She will always be #1 in our Hearts. Friends may call Thursday, August 16th from 4-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, where a vigil service will be held at 4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 2 pm in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 630 Main St., Bridgeport with Father John Mucha officiating.
