Martha L. "Marty" Shimp Rodgers, 89, of Elm St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., Nov. 20, 2002 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Oct. 9, 1913 in Moundsville, WV a daughter of the late Charles B. and Mary H. (Brown) Shimp. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service of San Francisco, CA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother William Shimp and a sister Jean Dellman. Surviving are a son Jack K. Rodgers and his wife Patricia of Captain Cook, HI, a sister Irene J. Tschappat of Martins Ferry, and two step grandchildren. There will be no visitation.
