Martha B. (Rood) Younkins, 81, of Grant Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Jul. 23, 2005 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. She was born Jul. 24, 1923 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Dinger) Rood. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter V. Younkins, a brother George Rood. Surviving are two sons Joseph P. (Barbara) Younkins of Martins Ferry and John W. Younkins of Phoenix, AZ, a daughter Judy Moran of Grand Junction, Co, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon., 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues., Jul., 26, 2005 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Bill N.
