Martina B. Smith, 72, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born September 18, 1942 in Belmont County/Bethesda, Ohio, daughter of the late Wayne K. Wilcox and Marjorie J. Stubbs Wilcox. Martina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a very deep love for her family. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and an avid reader. She was a devoted LPN of 25 years, working in Geriatrics and retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital. Martina is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne T. Smith of St. Clairsville; daughters, Becky J. Taggart and Teresa J. (Thomas) Faykus both of Bellaire; grandchildren, Angel, Codie, Jeff (JP), Kyle, Sam; great-grandchildren, Trent, Alyx, Bailey; sister, Jane A. (David) Green of Bethesda; and her loving and faithful companion, Bebe. Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
