Mary Argue Mary Groman Argue, 97, of Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Oct. 4, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born May 19, 1906 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Fleicher Groman. She was the former owner of the Vogue Beauty Shop and a life member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Argue in 1974, three brothers Michael M. Groman, Dr. Robert R. Groman and Dr. Herman B. Groman, and a sister Freda Tigglebeck. Surviving are her son Howard W. Argue and his wife Dolores Jean of Columbus, two granddaughters Julie Argue of Tallahassee, FL and Emily Argue of Columbus, a niece Carol Jackson and her husband Charlie of Columbus and good friends Ann Newland, Jane Beuter and Carry Gibbons. Friends will be received Mon. 2 - 6 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues. Oct. 7, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Peter L. Pilger officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions to the St. John's Lutheran Church, N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH.
