Mary C. (Baldassarre) Fregiato, 97, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Forest Hills Retirement Center, St. Clairsville. She was born August 5, 1919 in Wellsville, OH, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Theresa (Sarangelo) Baldassarre.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fregiato, sisters; Angeline DeSarro and Antoinette Baldassarre, and a brother Rocco Baldasarre.

Surviving are her children; Judge Frank A. (Cynthia) Fregiato and Angela Fregiato Bentley both of St. Clairsville, a brother, Fred (Jean) Baldasarre of Wellsville, grandchildren; Alison (Jeff) Bentley Warner, Matthew Bentley, Tessa (Nick) Keyes, and Dustin (Erica) Fregiato, and three great grandchildren, Dominic, Vincent and Jackson.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Tuesday 2-4 and 5-7 pm. Friends will also be received at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 212 W. Main St., St. Clairsville, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 9 am until time of the Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am with Rev. Thomas A. Chillog officiating. Entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Vigil Services will be held Tuesday at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
