Mary Battin, 99, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of N. 5th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, December 14, 2015 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville. She was born December 6, 1916 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John F. and Katherine "Katie" (Schomber) Battin. She was employed by the city of Martins Ferry as Treasurer from 1954 to 1979. Mary was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Yorkville, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Howard Battin and sisters; Katherine Zahm and Hettie Roblin. Surviving is her niece Tana Wessell of Benton Harbor, MI. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book below.
