Mary Glenn Dickinson Carmichael, died at her home in Lyme, New Hampshire on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She was born in Akron, Ohio on October 27, 1921, daughter of the late T.L. Dickinson and Mabel Roby Dickinson.
Mary moved to Lyme with her husband, the late Donald Scott Carmichael, in the fall of 1988.
Mary; a daughter, wife and mother; a sister and a grandma; a dancer and a teacher; a college graduate at 51. Horse-show mom and grandmom; music lover, hockey enthusiast, balletomane; Mary's greatest devotion was to her children and her grandchildren, and she was never happier than doing something for them.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Brooke McMurray and John M. Fowler, and Pamela and W. Howard Keenan all of New York, New York; grandchildren, Grey McMurray, her namesake, Mary Glenn, William, and Lillie Keenan; and brother, Thomas Dickinson of New York, New York.
The service for Mary has been conducted and interment has taken place at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio, near her grandmother's home, where she spent the happiest times of her childhood.
