Mary Rose Deal, 84, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center. She was born November 22, 1929 in Neffs, Ohio, daughter of the late Arthur E. McGee and Dorothy E. Outland McGee. Mary Rose was a homemaker, making her family her life and most precious gift. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great delight in caring for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Deal; brother, John McGee; sister, Virginia McConnell; daughters-in-law, Joye Ridgeway Sells Deal and Lottie Healey Deal. Mary Rose is survived by her sons, Don A. Deal and Roger A. Deal both of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Kendal Sells, Stephanie Gibson, Tina Deal and Derek Deal; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Grace Hughes Brush of Barnesville, Ohio. Family and friends will be welcomed for visitation, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio where the service will be conducted, Sunday at 1 p.m. Pastor Carol Touvell officiating. Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Ohio.
