DERRY, Mary Virginia, 95, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Medical Park Hospital, Wheeling, WV after a brief illness. Born April 20, 1917 in Goosetown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur and Mary Vironica (Hora) Derry. She was a retired retail clerk and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, Bridgeport Eagles # 995 Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles Past President Club and Ladies Foresters Club. She also loved to sing and participated in numerous musicals throughout the valley.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Derry, sister, Ada Terhall, granddaughter, Juli Ann Morgan and great granddaughter Kaitlyn Morgan. She is survived by son Brian (Sandy) Morgan and daughter Mary Ellen (Mike) Hughes both of Grove City; two grandchildren, Lori (Gary) Cox of Hilliard and Christopher (Andrea) Morgan of Grove City; seven great grandchildren, Megan, CJ, Rebecca, Derek and Xander Cox and Ethan and Emma Morgan. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 11 am "" 12:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
