Mary L. (Doughty) Vinka, 68, of Bellaire, OH and a native of Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH. She was born Sept. 27, 1943 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Clifford J. and Mary Katherine (Eden) Doughty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Michael Vinka, two brothers James C. and Gene Doughty, and a sister Joann Doughty. Surviving are her sons; Todd R. (Lori) Vinka of Bellaire, Timothy C. Vinka of Fairpoint, OH, and Rick (Jenny) Vinka of Tiltonsville, OH, her brothers; David A. (Peggy) Doughty of East Lake, OH, William E. (Amy) Doughty of Beallsville, OH, and Bud (Elaine) Doughty of Bellaire, her sisters; Wilma Wilcox of Scottsbluff, NE, Linda (Mike) Holubeck of Bakersfield, CA, Mamie (Mark) Masters of Tiltonsville, OH, and Sandy Doughty of VA., five grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Friends will be received Friday, May 18, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6 pm until time of services at 8:00 pm with Rev. Jim Monogioudis officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
