Mary Julia Holzopfel, 53 of Rayland passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, May 25, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late John William Egri and Delores Egri-Banyas.  She was born on April 8, 1971, in Martins Ferry.

Julia was a receptionist at the Skin Reflections Medical Spa and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church of Colerain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her stepfather, Geizel Banyas, by brother-in-law Sven Nils, in laws, Ronald and Particia Holzopfel.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband David and daughter Emily, siblings, Christine Jendretzky, Jacqueline Rasmussen, John W. (Melissa) Egri, Lori (Greg Ganzer) Luckhardt, Michael A. (Lori) Egri, brother-in-law Ronald W. (Cindi) Holzopfel, sister-in-law, Darla (Joe) LaRosa as well as many nieces, nephews, dear friends and her fur babies, CeCe and Charlotte.

There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11:30am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 72581 Colerain Rd., Dillonvale, Ohio 43917.  Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio 43912 is assisting the family.
