ELWOOD, Mary Ann Bennett, 64, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Wednesday June 15, 2011 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on November 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Jones Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Dayle Bennett. Mary Ann was a retired beautician from the Martins Ferry Beauty Shop; a former employee of Bridgeport Eagles, Bridgeport Legion and the Altenheim of Wheeling. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Terrance P. Elwood; two sons: Edward (Amy) Gould of St. Clairsville, Doug (Stefanie) Gould of Pleasant Grove, Ohio; a stepson, Michael (Tiffany) Elwood of Belmont, Ohio; a brother, David (Isobel) Bennett of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren: Brooke and Hunter Gould. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 21, 2011 with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
