Mary Lou Carpenter Mary Lou Erbe Carpenter, 53, of Main St., Wheeling, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Feb. 9, 2002 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.She was born May 12, 1948 in Martins Ferry a daughter of Violet Boner Erbe and the late William E. Erbe. She was a customer service representative for Telespectrum of Wheeling and a member of First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. Surviving in addition to her mother of Martins Ferry are her husband Richard Carpenter, a sister Barbara Minch and her husband Robert, Jr. of Wheeling, a nephew Robert Minch, III of Wheeling, and two nieces Brenda Minch Comer of Missouri and Bonnie Minch Harris of St. Clairsville. Private services were held at the convenience of the family with internment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
