Mary Farbarik, 99, formerly of Mingo Junction died Saturday March 29, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center West. Mary was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and was one of the first cooks at Paddy's Diner. She was born April 19, 1908 in Jamison, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mary Yurco Farbarik. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Michael Farbarik; five sisters, Katherine Olesky, Eustina Longo, Agnes Lebar, Dorothy Clark and Ann Grygo. Mary is survived by two sisters, Sophia Sabol and Margaret DiCesare both of Mingo Junction and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday at the Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Ave. Mingo Junction, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Tim Shannon as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
