Mary Jane Galloway 85 of Bridgeport died Friday July 9, 2010 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home Bridgeport. She was born March 21, 1925 in Ferrel, Pa, a daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Mae Ridgeway. She was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church, and the Senior Citizens in St. Clairsville, and a retired employee of Martins Ferry Hospital Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son James Arthur Wilkes, a brother Elmer Maxwell Miller. Mary Jane is survived by two sons Charles Eugene Wilkes of Canton, and Sylvester Edward Wilkes (Betty) of Wheeling, two daughters Zoann Fields (Edward) of Bridgeport, and Patty Dennard (Thomas) of Wheeling, a daughter-in-law Gwen Wilkes of Detroit Mich. and a special friend Norma Jean Smith of Wheeling, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Members of the family will receive friend on Monday July 12, 2010 from 4-8 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside where services will be held Tuesday at 11 am with the Pastor John E.
