Mary Virginia "Ginny" (Hayes) Sheets, 94, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Forest Hills Care Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born May 12, 1925 in Martins Ferry, only child of the late Charles E. and Anna M. (Craig) Hayes.

Ginny retired as a telephone operator for C & P Telephone Co. She was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Richard Sheets, Sr.

Surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren and life long friends.

Family and friends will be received Monday, January 27, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
