Mary A. Giancola Mary A. (Goletz) Giancola, 90, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., June 7, 2002 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Feb. 8, 1912 in Crescent, OH a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Pawlikowski Goletz. Mary was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Giancola, four brothers Stanley, Andrew, Alec, and Albert Goletz and a sister Sophia. Surviving are her three sons Alfred A. Giancola and his wife Betty and Daniel A. Giancola and his wife Nancy all of Martins Ferry, and Charles A. Giancola and his wife Phyllis of Fairview Hts., Illinois, seven grandchildren, Fred Giancola, Frances Barath, Barbara Aventino, Daniel A. Giancola, Jr., Becky Randolph, Kathleen Hull, and William Charles Giancola, seven great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where services will be held Mon., June 10, 2002 at 1:00 PM with Fr. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
