Mary E. "Mimi" Gonot 89 of Colerain died Monday January 19, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born August 15, 1925 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Raska) Luginskie. She was the Treasurer for the former Bridgeport Savings and Loan Bank Bridgeport for 45 years, and a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and William Barker, and a sister Virginia Luginskie. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Thomas C. Gonot, a son George W. (Cathy) Gonot of Adena, a daughter Mary Beth Taylor and her companion Ken Ackerman of Martins Ferry, four grandchildren Meredith (Josef) Meholovich, Adam Gonot, Eric (Lindsey) Taylor, and Chad Taylor, four great grandchildren Chloe, and Skyler Meholovich, and Liam and Madeline Taylor. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday January 22, 2015 from 3-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain with Fr. Tim McGuire as Celebrant, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wake service will be recited on Thursday at 3 pm at the Funeral Home.
