MARY V. HALL, 95, of Piedmont, formerly of Bellaire, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at Cumberland Pointe Nursing Home in St. Clairsville. She was born February 27, 1913 in Morgantown, WV, the daughter of the late Howard and Lilly (Drummon) Uphold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hall; a son Robert; an infant son Sonny; a brother Bud Uphold and three sisters Lena Potts, Valley Cooper and twin sister Katherine. Mary is survived by two sons Raymond of Triadelphia and Charles of Brookside; eight daughters Shirley Crabtree and Betty Donley both of Indiana, Lorraine Burns and Maxine Bond both of Youngstown, Linda Kettering of Kentucky, Edith Wright of St. Clairsville, Mary Wendel of Glen Dale and Norma Fitzsimmons of Piedmont; one brother James Uphold of Morgantown; a sister Josephine Dooley of Morgantown as well as many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling.
