Mary G. Van Horn, 83, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born July 13, 1928 in Bethesda, Ohio, daughter of the late William J. Anderson and Edith J. Shepard Anderson. Mary was a homemaker, a long time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles, and a Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, John Van Horn; and infant son, Scott Robert Van Horn. Mary is survived by three sons, Harry A. (Vickie) Van Horn, Philip Eric (Tammy) Van Horn, both of Barnesville, and David Michael Van Horn of Quaker City; two daughters, Mary Jane Farrabee of Dennison and Tina M. Willis of Cadiz; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call, Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where services will be conducted, Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
