Mary E. (Kies) Harris, 71, of Bridgeport, OH died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born Nov. 16, 1946 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Thomas A. Kies and Mary (McGlothlin) Clements. She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and Wheeling Barber College. She was a former employee of the Wheeling Island Casino, Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kies. Surviving are her children: Ron (Lisa) Graham, Ronda (Matt) Clark all of St. Clairsville, OH and Ted (Becky) Hitchman of Martins Ferry and brothers; Thomas Kies of Grand Rapids, MI, Edward (Judith) Kies of Topeka, KS, Roger (Pat) Kies of Beaver, PA and Michael Kies of St. Clairsville, sister, Beverly (Charlie) Pawlaczyk of Cincinnati, OH and grandchildren: Allison, Ian, Kies and Neal Graham, Kasey and Natalie Boston, Cordelia Hitchman, Jordan, Evan and Taylor Laird and Jacob Clark. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Ratliff officiating.
