Mary E. Kinney, 92, of Hannibal, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born December 17,1919 in Morristown, Ohio, daughter of the late Ray Harley Barr and Dorothy Jane Moore Barr. Born and raised in Morristown, Ohio, Mary wed the late Walter Kinney of Flushing, Ohio then moved to Liberia, West Africa, where they lived for 20 years on the Firestone Rubber Plantation. While in Africa, they welcomed their only daughter, Sharon. They returned to Flushing, Ohio i n 1970. Mary moved to Hannibal, Ohio in 1992 to be closer to her daughter. She was a homemaker, attended Flushing United Methodist Church and beauty college in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Milner. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sharon D. Heslep of Hannibal, Ohio; granddaughter, Kayla Heslep (Scott Kerr); nieces, Joni Davis, Nancy Tacosik, and Mickey Prather; nephew, Jack Milner; and extended family, Bill and Trina Heslep and family and Duff Mahoney. Friends may visit, Saturday 4 to 8 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio where services will be conducted, Sunday 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.
