MARY M. KOMPIER, 90, of Barton, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville. She was born August 9, 1917 in Barton, the daughter of the late Paul and Caroline Vehonski Kuhar. Mary was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain and was a member of the CWC at the former Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Kompier in 2007; three brothers Paul, Joseph and Edward Kuhar; a sister Ann Spriska and a grandson Howard Douglas Shell. Mary is survived by a son Michael ""Mick"" Kompier of Barton; two daughters Marlene Shell of Marion, IN and Sylvia Kompier of North Royalton, OH; two grandchildren John Michael Shell of Marion, IN and Stacie Reed and her husband Chris of Wabash, IN; six great grandchildren Andrew Adamson, Derek and Vali Reed, Theresa Dehoff, Tyler ""Douglas"" Shell and Clayton Shell and a great great grandson Alijah Davis. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 3:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain with Father Dale Tornes as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Blaine.
