Mary E. Morris Mary E. Koon Morris, 88, formerly of S. 12th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tues., Jan. 28, 2003 at McGraw Nursing Home, Pleasant Grove, OH. She was born July 24, 1914 in Rayland a daughter of the late Ross and Ruth E. Scott Koon. She was a retired supervisor of Central Supply and a registered nurse at Ohio Valley Medical Center, a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Lady Elks both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Morris, a brother Ross W. Koon and a sister Betty Martin. Surviving are a brother Robert Koon of Wheeling, WV, two sisters Virginia Cooper and Ruth Burriss both of Smithfield, a brother-in-law Ralph Martin of Martins Ferry and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove with Rev. Van. D. Fisher officiating.
