Mary Anne Kowalski 95, of Parma, Ohio formerly of Wolfhurst died Thursday October 18, 2012 at Holy Family Home Parma, Ohio. She was born January 18, 1917 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late John and Eva (Malek) Prorok. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, and the St. Anne's Society. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Michael Kowalski Sr., two brothers Adam and William Prorok, five sisters Anna Stortz, Nellie Charne, Genevieve Sheekski, Sophia Kroflich, and Josephine Silon. Mary is survived by a son Michael (Lucy) Kowalski Jr. of Parma Heights, a daughter Sr. Eva Marie Kowalski of Nazareth KY., two grandchildren Christine (Steven) Manning, and Theresa (William) Steller, four great grandchildren Isaac, Jenna, Emily Rose, and Ian, many loving nieces and nephews. Mary was a foster mother o Patty Templin (Jones), and Paul Templin. Friends are invited to a celebration of Mary's life on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 1 till 7 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 22, 2012 at 1 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha officiating, interment in S. Anthony's Cemetery Blaine. Wake service will be recited on Sunday at 1:30 pm at the funeral Home.
