Mary Elizabeth Lash, 85, of Farmington, OH, died Saturday April 24, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born December 7, 1924 in Farmington, the daughter of the late Robert C. and Elizabeth C. (Wells) Lash. Mary was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church, serving various offices throughout her years including treasurer, which she held for 23 years. She also worked as a Book keeper for Landmark then went on to become a secretary for Belmont Electric, where she retired. After retiring she then served as Book keeper for Lash Paving for many years, also serving as Clerk for Colerain Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robert "Bobby" Lash and numerous cousins. Mary is survived by cousins, Elinor Cline and Martha Conaway and many other cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside and on Wednesday April, 28 at the Colerain Presbyterian Church from 10 am till time of service at 11 am with Reverend John A. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Colerain Presbyterian Church.
