MARY H. MELLOTT, 81, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. She was born October 28, 1927 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Pefenbaugh) Menkemeller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Mellott in 2003; four brothers Sam, Ralph, Bill and Pienny Menkemeller; two sisters Martha Conners and Dorothy; and a niece Shirley Morris. Mary retired from Cleavite Industries in Lansing. She was a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church and was an avid supporter of the State of West Virginia where she was born. Mary is survived by a son Tom Mellott and his wife Margie of Bridgeport; two grandchildren, Tom Mellott II of Bridgeport and Karrie Puskas and her husband Greg of Lansing; and two great grandsons Brody and Colton Puskas; two nephews Robert and William Menkemeller; a niece Jan Schults; a great nephew Tim Morris; and two great nieces Tammie Hill and Terri Morris. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where services will be held Saturday at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Wolfhurst or Brookside VFD's or Lansing United Methodist Church.
