Mary M. (Motto) Ontko, 88, of N. 6th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. She was born Mar. 27, 1922 in St. Clair, PA a daughter of the late George and Anna (Schargo) Motto. She was a retired employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ontko, Sr. and her son Charles Ontko, Jr., five brothers. Surviving are her daughter-in-law Patricia Ontko of Marietta, OH, a brother Phillip Motto of Toronto,OH, three sisters Florence Ontko of Martins Ferry, Margaret Porter of Brilliant ,OH, and Dorothy Toucher of Coraopolis, PA, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating.
