Mary C. Nixon, 75, of Belmont, Ohio passed away on July 4, 2022.  She was born on August 2, 1946 to the late Francis and Mary Bartolovich.  She was a dedicated homemaker that enjoyed spending time with old friends, traveling, taking care of cats, and watching the Lakers Basketball team with her son.  She was a member of the Catholic Church in Barnesville, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Nixon Sr. whom she met in Heaven.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Nixon, Jim (Araceli) Nixon Jr.; a daughter, Lisa (Greg) Duval; grandchildren, Rob (Katie) Nixon, Steve (Darcee) Williams, Cody Williams and Jennifer Nixon; and two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit Monday, July 11, 2022 from 12pm – 2pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.  The funeral service will be the same day at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Darla Schnegg officiating.  Burial will follow to Ebenezer Cemetery.
