Mary Ruth Ontko, 67 of Wheeling, WV formerly of Martins Ferry passed away, May 2, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born, December 24, 1954, the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel Mae (Reeder) Ontko.

She was employed as a Paralegal for Dinsmore & Shohl of Wheeling and was dedicated to her work for the firm. When she was not working, Mary could be found reading history books on her kindle, researching the Royal Family, loving on animals, and sneaking a sweet, on occasion.

Mary is survived by a sister, Florence Ontko, and several cousins.

In accordance with Mary's wishes a private graveside service was held.
