PILNEY, Mary Corona, 97, of Dillonvale, Ohio, went to the Lord on Monday June 27, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Bradley, Ohio on March 16, 1914, a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Marcini Corona. Mary was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed baking, gardening and crocheting. She was especially known for her Kolachi and Bohemian Braid. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years Joseph Pilney; sisters: Helen Moder, Antoinette Severini; brothers: Tony, Orlando and Harry Corona; and a son-in-law Lewis Zavacky. Mary is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Zavacky of St. Clairsville; a son, Donald Pilney and his wife Louise of Erie, Pa., two sisters in law: Sophie Pilney and Helen Hetki; three grandchildren: Greg Pilney, Cynthia Rutan and Lewis Zavacky Jr.; three great-grandchildren: L.J. Zavacky, Matthew and Rachel Rutan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio where services will be held Thursday June 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. John C.
