MARY ELIZABETH POLAND ORR

Mary Elizabeth Orr, 96, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2021 at her home, with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Fairpoint, Ohio on December 12, 1924 to parents, Harry and Lucy (Dayton) Poland.

She was greeted by her loved ones who preceded her in death; husband, Albert Dempsey Orr; sons, Brenton "Butch", Harry "Spike", Norman "Russ"; four brothers; and four sisters.

A Flushing resident most of her life, she attended Flushing grade school, was a graduate of Flushing High School and was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.  Devoted to her family as a homemaker, she supported her husband, tenderly loved, instructed, and nurtured their children, and created a peaceful atmosphere, which God blessed abundantly.

Making a difference in the lives of her family and friends, her memory will be treasured always by her children, Janet Orr, Bonnie (Earl) Smith, Dawn (Ken) Morris, Loretta Orr, Tracy (Mike) Campise, Jamie (Steve) Miller, Jerry (Kathy) Orr, and Michael Orr; 24 grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Sunday, October 3, 2021 from noon until 2:00 pm, with the service following at 2:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda.  Pastor Bob Merritt will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
