Mary Agnes Matusik, 86 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Park Health Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born January 27, 1938, in Neffs, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Dovark) Pumpa.

Mary worked at the former Stone & Thomas Department Store, and was a member of T.O.P.S.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (nanny) to her family. She loved baking, candy making and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Blon, granddaughter, Cassandra Blon, great-granddaughter, Addison Blon, and brothers, Dave, and Sonny Pumpa.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Steve Matusik, children, Gary (Jennifer) Matusik, Kevin (Lynn) Matusik, son in law, John Blon, grandchildren, Karina Hornyak, Korben Blon, Alexa, Savanah, Collin and Coriana Matusik, great-grandchildren, Isabella Cline, Kaden Blon, Aurora Gossett, Kasslyn Hornyak, Kazyer Blon, Khloe Blon and Oaken Hornyak.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. James Hoff officiating.  Burial to follow at Belmont Memorial Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
