Obituary

Mary Puperi Mary Coram Puperi, 84 of Pleasant Grove, OH, formerly of Hughes Ave., Martins Ferry died Wed., Dec. 4, 2002 at McGraw Nursing Home, Pleasant Grove. She was born Mar. 14, 1918 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Simon Coram. She was retired from the former Lerner's Department Store, Wheeling, WV, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and Madonna Crusaders, both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Jean Harbison, a great grandson Jacob McCoy, and four brothers Mike, Nick, Tom and Don Coram. Surviving are her husband James Puperi, a son Ronald Puperi and his wife Carolyn of Martins Ferry, a daughter Sally Wodusky of Wheeling, two brothers Joe Coram of Glen Dale, and Ed Coram of E. Moline, IL, two sisters Betty Purpura and her husband Tony of Warwood, and Ann Perilla of Parkersburg, WV, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received Fri. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Sat. at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Fr. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Rosary devotions will be recited Fri. at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 8:00 PM in the Funeral Home.
