Mary L. Richards, 58, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born December 18, 1952 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Harry and Madeline Richardson. Mary was Catholic by faith. She was a retired registered nurse with Belmont Correctional Institution, a volunteer with Barnesville Hospital, and was previously very active with the Bethesda Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Squad. She is survived by daughter, Amy (Jeromy) Moore of Kent, Ohio ; son, Lance Richards (Lori Adkins) of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jacy Kupfer, Abbie and Griffen Carpenter, Jordan Richards, Jaedyn Adkins, and Alex Richards; sisters, Linda Chumley and Betty Kriechbaum; brothers, Lenny and Bill Lively and Rich Brown. Family and friends will be received Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brian Bee will be officiating. Interment will take place in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
