Mary Lou Roberts, 78, of Hennis Care Center, Dover, OH, died Saturday May 1, 2010 at Union Hospital, Dover, OH. She was born December 30, 1931 in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late William and Nettie (McIntosh) Matheas. Mary was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Friends Church and Colerain Senior Citizens. She was a retired Proofreader for The Times Leader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack L. Roberts, who passed away in 1995; two brothers William and Jack Matheas; and two sisters Evelyn Sickle and Inez Edwards. Mary is survived by a son Rick L. Roberts and his wife Melissa of Dennison, OH, a sister Darlene Ruch and her husband George of Mt. Pleasant; three Grand children Anthony, Autumn, Aaron; and one Great grand child Eliza. A Memorial service will be held for Mary on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant, OH at 11 am with Pastor Ken Sickle officiating.
