Obituary

Mary Ann Rose (Turel) Hutkay, 79, of Lansing, formerly of Dillonvale, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, in her home.  She was born on January 3, 1943, in Wheeling a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Marzley) Turel.  Mary Ann enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, crocheting, scrapbooking, cooking, canning, polka music and polka dancing.  She also was an avid Steelers and Ohio State fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Julia Ogden (Jerry Mitchell) and their nephew, Thomas Orth; a nephew, Johnathan Peltz; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Peltz; grand dogs, Chance, Clover, and Scarlett.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph R. Hutkay in 2002; sister, Antoinette Peltz; infant sister, Antonette Turel; infant brother, Bolick Turel; and her beloved dog, Bear.

Friends may call Wednesday from 3-7 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 pm in the funeral home with Chaplin Leo Gonot officiating. Private graveside service will be held in St. Adalbert Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Hollie Davis and Angie Hack for the loving care they gave to Mary Ann.
