Mary "Marish" (Ivan) Russ, 89, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Rollings Hills Nursing Center, Bridgeport, OH. She was born July 16, 1931 in Mona, WV to the late Nicholas and Catherine (Kish) Ivan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Moore, her second husband, Gilbert L. Russ, and siblings: Steve Ivan, Terry Powell, Elizabeth Turner, Irene Ivan, Peter Ivan, and Nicholas Ivan Jr.

Mary was a member of the Hungarian American Cultural Club. She loved living in Martins Ferry, baking and helping others.

Surviving are her children: Deborah (Mark) White of Piedmont, SC and Linda (Rick) Decker of Easley, SC and grandchildren, Merri Parker, Kayla Decker and a great grandchild, Josie Claire Parker.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Elder Tyron C. Spencer officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to The Road Home Animal Shelter, PO Box 522, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
