Mary L. (Russell) McBride, 75, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 9, 1935 in West Wheeling, OH a daughter of the late Harry S. Russell, Sr. and Bertha (Mowder) Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John E. McBride, a daughter Linda L. McBride, four brothers John, Roy, Paul, and Harry Russell, Jr., and a sister Betty Resutek. Surviving are her two daughters Debra Mamula of Martins Ferry and Sue Ann (Jack) Tyras of Steubenville, OH, four grandsons Scott (Stacy) Mamula, Brandon Mamula, Fred J. Walker, III, and Jonathan Tyras, a great grandson Logan Mamula, and two sisters Lillian Myers of Martins Ferry and JoAnn Kluskey of Carrollton, OH. Family and friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry where services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Curtis Hallstrom officiating.
