Mary Ann (Sedgwick) Aukerman 90, of Airport Rd., St. Clairsville, OH died Mon, Apr. 11, 2005 at Park Vista Nursing Home, Youngstown, OH. She was born March 21, 1915 in Martins Ferry, OH the daughter of the late Ira B. Sedgwick and Emily (Hoge) Sedgwick. She graduated from Martins Ferry High School, attended Ohio State University and graduated; the School of Medical Technology Institute of Pathology, University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH and was a lifetime member of the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology. At St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, she established an ASCP approved School of Histoloic Technique, one of the first in Ohio and devoted many years instructing students. She was a member of the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Wheeling, WV, National Histology Society, Tuesday Night Club, Questers International, Gardners Forum and Delta Gamma Sorority. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson L. Aukerman and three brothers, James , Thomas and William Sedgwick. Surviving are her son Atty Stephen T. Bolton and his wife Deborah (Dixon) Bolton, R.N., four grandchildren, Margaret, William, Clay and Melinda, four nieces Nancy Sedgwick Ness, Emily Galvin, Irma Medgyesy and Kathleen Miller and a nephew James Hoge Sedgwick. Friends are invited to attend a memorial services that will be held Fri., Apr. 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Mathews Episcopal Church, 1410 Chaplain St., Wheeling, WV where Fr.
