Mary L. (Shepherd) Coleman, 85, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, May 6, 2011 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born May 14, 1925 in St. Clairsville, OH a daughter of the late Carleton and Dorothy (Seabright) Shepherd. She was retired from the City of Martins Ferry. Mary was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry, and the Quilting Organization. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Lois Carle. Surviving are her husband Harry P. Coleman, Jr., a son Harry P. (Judith) Coleman, III, of Martins Ferry, a daughter Debra (Richard) McGee of Martins Ferry, two granddaughters Megan (Adam) Wimmers, and Erin Priest both of Columbus, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 40 N. 4th. St., Martins Ferry, OH with Pastor Philip K. Van Dam officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, St. John's Lutheran Church, or American Diabetes Association.
