Mary (Wakulchik) Skatula, 87, formerly of Glen Robbins, OH, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born May 10, 1924 in Glen Robbins a daughter of the late David and Anna (Frencko) Wakulchik. She was a retired employee and volunteer of East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. Mary was a member and elder of the Glen Robbins Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the former Eagles Auxiliary Post #995 of Bridgeport, OH, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post #3613 of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Edward H. Skatula in1979. Surviving are her daughters Patricia Anne (Louis) Vargo of Wheeling, WV, and Joni Lynn (Rodney) Watkins of West Finley, PA, and three grandsons Edward Louis Vargo, Gregory Michael Vargo, and Ian James Watkins. Per Mary's request there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the immediate family.
