Mary J. (Solomon) Helms, 53, of Bridgeport, OH, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. She was born July 12, 1966 in Wheeling, a daughter of James A. and Suzanne (Friend) Solomon of Bridgeport.

Mary was the former Librarian Manager of Bridgeport Library and a member of Lansing United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Helms and daughter Anne (Paul) Worwa of Bridgeport, siblings; Linda (Frank) Wills of MS, John (Linda) Dunlavy of Bridgeport, Vicki (Alan) Price of TX, Phil Dunlavy of MS and Jimmy Solomon of Bridgeport, grandchildren; Elizabeth, Alex, Abby, Clarissa, and Savannah.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Sunday, 12-2 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday, July 22, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Erica L. Harley officiating.

Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
