MARY A. STONOVICH, 94, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at her home. She was born July 15, 1914 in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Bozo and Boya (Lalich) Mirich. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband George Stonovich, Sr.; a brother Nick Mirich and two sisters Stella Sommer and Sally Jordan. She is survived by a son George Stonovich and his wife JoAnn of Bridgeport; a daughter Betty Sue Stonovich with whom she resided; a brother Pete Mirich and his wife Nancy of Wheeling; a sister Mildred Bodell and her husband Cornell of Phoenix, AZ; two granddaughters Georgia Beaver and her husband Barney of Mobile, AL, and Sandra Burress of Wheeling; a great grandson Andrew Burress of Wheeling; a nephew John Barath and his wife Sue of Bridgeport. The Stonovich family would like to extend a special thanks to the Dale Conaway family for their help over the years.
