SWINSINSKI, Mary Lou Hemshrodt, 84, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed Friday July 6, 2012 at home. She was born in Mingo Junction on April 26, 1928, a daughter of the late William and Ethel Bickerstaf Hemshrodt. Mary Lou was the former owner of Betty Lou Florist in Mingo Junction; a member of A.B.A.T.E., and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Chester R. Swinsinski in 2004; a grandson Michael Thompson, a sister Betty Jane Harris, a brother William Hemshrodt and a sister-in-law Margaret Swinsinski. Mary Lou is survived by three sons: Richard (Marsha) Swinsinski, Stanley B. Swinsinski, Paul (Phyllis) Swinsinski; two daughters: Mary Ann (Albert) Thompson, Betty Jane (Chester JR) Zelkowski, daughter in law Cheryl Jackson Swinsinski, brother in law Joseph Swinsinski, all of Mingo Junction; sister-in-law Veronica (Sam) Sodoti of Steubenville; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Avenue, Mingo Junction, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 9, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction, with Rev. James Dunfee as celebrant. Memorial Contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 SR 150, Rayland, Ohio 43943. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo Junction.
