Mary L. Basham, 81, of Freeport, Ohio passed away on June 7, 2023.  She was born on August 12, 1941 to the late Clyde and Alice (Kennon) Turner.

Mary was a wonderful wife and mother who loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and sitting on her porch watching birds and wildlife.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her two babies, Crystal and Walter; and a step-son, Davie Basham.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Roy Basham; daughter, Christy (Ed) Basham; step-sons, Roy (Tiffany) Basham, Jason (Julie) Basham, Travis Basham; grandchildren, Amber (Jon) Burgan, Dustyn Basham; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Riverleigh, and Conway.

Friends and family are encouraged to visit on Saturday June 10, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 E. Main St., Barnesville, Ohio 43713.  The funeral service will be at 1pm with Pastor Adam Davis officiating.  Burial will follow to Ebenezer Cemetery.
